banned for no reason

I was playing on the christian gaming - Sidi power plant server and was kicked/banned for no apparently reason. it stated banned by admin or for excessive teamkilling. I wasn't swearing, I wasn't harrasing, I wasn't doing anything wrong except questioning "Doctorwhy" what he was talking about since he kept calling us losers, cheaters, etc. was making no sense. He even came up with the bright insult that we should "Learn how to lose".
what does that even mean? all of a sudden I'm kicked for asking him what he's talking about???

I'm requesting an unban, but also want to mention that if this is the treatment people can expect from the "Christian" Gaming Team you're setting a terrible example. why not kick the guy that's causing problems instead of me??
Sad thing is we weren't even winning the match so I have no idea what even happened.

Thanks for your request. But, upon looking at our logs, you were not banned for any team killing or for questioning that other player, who was eventually banned. You were in fact banned for bad language. For abbreviated language. No one like to be falsely accused for setting a "terrible example" that is not what we do. And yes, you can expect to be kicked or banned for bad language.

If you would still like an unban, please present a request for unban according the ban reason and we would gladly do so. We like to offer a clean server for all ages and backgrounds to play on that all will enjoy and we will continue to do that as long as we are around.

I'm operating without the logs here, but I'm going to toss in what I hope will be gracious thinking.

Think back on what you were typing, and/or speaking at the time, and see if you can remember/identity what was objectionable. We don't even accept abbreviations of bad language. The whole series of "WT_ ?" (fill in your acronym in the blank) shorthand is unacceptable. As are any number of other things. Although very many folks these days don't think through what they are actually saying when they type the acronym - we do, and we take it seriously.

you're correct, thinking back to that game, I did use the "wt_" expression without thinking about it.
I do realize it's "Implied" bad language so I apologize and will watch it next time.
in the heat of the moment I typed it out of frustration for the guy that kept whining about us cheating even though we were losing the match (just like the previous 2 games I played there). I appreciate your servers being clean and all so I have no problem with that.
My thing in this matter is that I slipped and typed an acronym and got kicked/banned without a chance for correction. yes the abbreviation is technically an implied swear but it's not an outright swear (and does not offend unless someone know what it means) so in this case a little warning would've sufficed since I only did it one time and did not continue with it. All this fuss to try and get back to being able to play on a server for one slip seems a bit much.
I can understand if someone just keeps going off, kicking them but a slip of an "acronym" with no warning seems a bit over the top since the rules are "no swearing".

Anyway, I am offering a sincere apology for my actions.

jpalmi, thanks for your humble request. I will honor you request with an unban. Thanks for understanding our goal to keep a clean, respectable server for all to enjoy! I believe it was the auto admin that had done the kicking. We have the auto admin for that purpose in case an admin is not present at the time. Plus, it keeps those that like to come back and try to slam us with vulgarity from coming back on and slamming us and getting off before we have a chance to ban them. So its pretty much precautionary.
Anyway, I am pleased that you like our server enough to come back, and we will be happy to have you join us once again!

I know what you mean about someone getting kicked and coming back in hot tempered and slamming everyone for being kicked. we have a server for our clan which I'm an admin on and have had that exact issue in the past. unfortunately the rest of our clan is onto other games at the moment so our BF2142 isn't running on the server at the moment (for the last few months) so I have you guys and the gamers having fun servers to go to. the leetservers and xtreem servers are so full of language and cheaters quite often that it's rare I'll play there.
Yes its frustrating when things happen like in the case of this tread but is understandable.
